It’s Fun
- This year will be another epic event with fantastic vendors onsite, the best raffle on the planet (over $100k in prizes), plenty of opportunities to go wheeling, and an outrageous fireworks show to cap it off.

It HelpsThe event is put on by the legendary Tierra Del Sol 4 Wheel Drive Club, which was incorporated in August 1962 as a non-profit organization. Proceeds from the event go towards efforts to keep public lands open for wheeling.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  


New Location – The headquarters from the event has been moved from public land to a massive private location nearby. This means you can blaze new trails this year and certain restrictions which were limiting the overall fun and freedom of the event will be relaxed so you can enjoy an improved experience. However, do make sure to respect the all lands at the event and observe all BLM guidelines when operating your vehicle on public lands.

Ride with the Pros – The Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari attracts all sorts of professional and high-profile off road personalities, including GenRight owner and Ultra4 King of the Hammers racer Tony Pellegrino, who will lead some trail rides during weekend and be available to answer your burning questions about wheeling in general or upgrading your vehicle in particular.

Connect with the Community – The event also attracts off-roaders from all over the southwestern United States, making it a great opportunity to build your personal network of off-road enthusiasts, learn about other off-roading opportunities, or find new wheeling clubs to connect with.

As Close As It Gets - The Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari is Southern California’s closest and biggest off-roading event. It is an easy drive from San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, and San Bernadino and Riverside counties.

Mud, Mud, Mud – This year’s event will feature a mud pit, so grab your ride and try to splash on through, or pull up a folding a chair and watch as others rise to the muddy challenge.
