Then the GenRight Stanchion or Leg at the dash for the Jeep YJ is for you. It is designed to fit tight to the dash and maximize leg room.
This kit is a complicated series of brackets that are laser cut from heavy 3/16" thick steel plate and CNC formed for a perfect fit.
FEATURES:
- These stanchions require NO cutting of the dash.
- These stanchions extend all the way to the floor with no loss of foot room.
- Will not interfere with parking brake pedal.
- Design ties in to the side of the tub (inside at the lower door hinge) as well as the floor.
- Sold un-painted, so it can be properly welded together.
- For maximum roll over protection we recommend the frame tie in kit (sold separately GRC-5500).
NOTE:
- If using full hard doors, the fit is tight! You will have to counter sink the bolts into the dash or clearance the door where it meets the 3/16" thick stanchion plate at the dash.
