This is a hi-misalignment spacer for the big "16" size Heim joint. This part number reduces the bore from 1" to 5/8" diameter to fit in our suspension brackets.
This is the necessary part to adapt the big FK heim to fit in our suspension control arm mounts. These are the same parts we run on our Ultra4 race car.
FEATURES:
- Included stainless hi-misalignment spacer (that reduce the bore to 5/8").
- Overall width of heim with two spacers on it is 2-5/8"
- Accepts a 5/8" diameter bolt.
- Sold as a pair.
Important NOTES:
- Cutting & Welding OR Threading is required to adapt this part to your steering or suspension. Proper fitment requires sizing of the tubing to length (tailoring it to your specific vehicle) and welding the threaded inserts onto the end of the Control Arm.
- Make sure you are ordering the proper size! We offer two different sizes to fit 9/16" OR 5/8" through bolts.
- Once installed, you MUST cycle the front suspension and steering (in all possible direction combinations) to make sure the ball joints or heims DO NOT exceed their range of motion which would damage the suspension components and could cause a failure resulting in a loss of steering control!
