It allows you to carry the cargo you simply don't want inside your Jeep (firewood, gas cans, porta potty, small generator)..

These mounts are designed to hold unto 80lbs (on the stock tire carrier mounts).

- (6) 1/4" diameter holes will need to be drilled into the underside of the GR cargo rack to mount it to these mounts.
