Jeep JK 25 Gal Gas Tank, Rear Tank & Skid Plate

This is the New 25 Gallon GenRight Crawler™ Gas Tank to fit a Jeep JK (2007 - 2018 all models).

This gas tank replacement for the stock plastic tank in any JK or JKU to replace the stock side saddle gas tank, while still allowing for stock rear coil springs and shocks.

Additionally, since this tank is relocated to the rear of the vehicle (where the muffler was) it gets you pointed in the right direction for more serious modifications down the road. Specifically making room under the vehicle so you can run a 4 link rear suspension (yes, no 3rd link or trac bar!).

This tank follows in a line of innovative and trail proven, top quality gas tanks produced by GenRight Off Road since 2006.

Although the tank assembly is relocated to the rear muffler area and mounts in a way that still works with your factory gas filler and EVAP system.

Our tank even re-uses your factory fuel pump module so can work with all your factory emissions equipment so you won't get any check engine light or have computer issues.

Additional NOTES:

• Because of shape and location changes, installation of this product requires changes to the exhaust.
• Requires removal of the rear floor tool storage area (the jack remains in the very rear compartment).
• To install this product it does NOT require a body lift.
• If a rear sway bar is desired, installing this tank will requires switching to a Currie "AntiRock" type rear sway bars. Because the stock sway bar must be removed.
• Can be used with factory tow hitch (as pictured).
• Because this tank is a (higher quality) direct "replacement part" which means it does not affect the emissions in any way and does not require CARB certification or EO number.
• Although the 25 gal tank hangs slightly lower than the factory muffler, it does not change your departure angle.
