This is the Tailgate License Plate mounting plate for the Jeep Wrangler (YJ, TJ & LJ) from GenRight Off Road.
It simply covers the factory vent and relocates the rear license plate to the center of the rear door on a Jeep Wrangler.
It is sleek, simple and made of super lightweight 1/8" thick 6061-T6 Aluminum alloy.

Good product, may require modification
Took me a second to decide how to modify the plate to fit the needs of an 06 LJ. I’m not sure the year, but the cabin vent moved to the tailgate at some point which is in the way of this plate. If you have a soft top, I believe you can just remove it and “delete” the vent. I have a hard top and my blower motor was whistling cause of the lack of the vent. So I added some cheap louver (hidden behind the license plate) I found at HD to let the tailgate still breath and everything works great. The only thing I would say that is a negative is there could be instructions for if you have the tailgate vent or not. But it’s an offroad product, potential modification should probably be expected.
