Worth the price for an extra level of certainty

You don't realize how thin the tub of a Jeep is until you drill into it. I put these on with the standard wheel base aluminum corner guards for my TJ and I'm glad I did. It might be a bit of extra money but it takes away some of the stress as to if they will hold up for a long time. I'm not sure how a TJ tub would last over a few years with out these but for a minimal price its not worth finding out. They don't stick out from under the inner lip of the tub so unless you know they are there you wont notice them. You may have to cut the carpet around them slightly just because it sits right were a lot of carpet kits tuck up against the tub but that's a small task compared to fixing a damaged tub down the line.
