This is the Bumper Plate for the GenRight swing down rear tire carrier.
The rear tire carrier mounting brackets are pre-welded on the 3/16" thick plate for the rear of a Jeep Wrangler YJ.
It is designed to be an ultra high clearance bumper and give your Jeep the optimal departure angle while re-enforcing the rear cross member.
This is the same product Tony ran on the Growler YJ for years!

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Holes in the rear bumper plate fit the Optional LED-1500-P or LED-1001-P back up lights.
- Installation requires, you remove the rear most body mounts to slip this plate under them.
- Installation does NOT require lowering or removing the fuel tank to access mounting bolts, but it helps.
- This NOT a direct bolt-on for CJ's (please see part number RBB-1008).

High quality, great customer service
YJ rear cross member is very well built right down to the perfect welds on the recovery points and tire carrier brackets. Full 5/16 thick steel, more than double the factory cross member. Genright is the real deal!
