The sides of the bumper are simply cap'd, which is the best design for huge tire clearance when turning.

Cutting the front of the frame will gain clearance and improve your approach angle, but it will void your Jeep's warranty.
- This bumper pushes the winch back into the plastic grill, so the grill will need to be trimmed around your winch.

Cutting the front of the frame may interfere with your Jeep's safety systems.

Winch bolt pattern is cut for WARN Zeon and 9.0RC winches. Others will fit too.
