TJ / LJ Aluminum Tailgate Cover

It is designed to cover your factory swing out tailgate and match the thickness of your corner guards.

Sold as a "cover", it has cut outs for the factory key hole and door latch.

• Requires drilling holes and installing Rivnuts.
• Depending on the year of your Jeep, some holes may intersect with inner sheet metal supports. Drill #7 size holes first that can be tapped 1/4-20 if this is the case.
• If you plan to run the factory flapper vent in the rear door, you will need to cut the opening in this panel.
• This plate mounts under the tail gate hinges, which spaces it flush with our 3/16" thick corner guards.
• This aluminum product can be left brushed aluminum or painted.
• Finish on this product may be different than the finish on your corner guards.
