    AMAZING UPGRADE and LOOK

Posted by Pygmy on Nov 18th 2017

Had a competitor system on my Jeep that was made of Ferrous Metal and was Black, once I got a look at the RTC made by GenRight, I knew I wanted it in place of my current setup. The GR RTC was significantly lighter, just as strong and durable on the trail. I had the Brackets that munt the RTC to the Jeep painted the same factory color but wanted to have that distinguishable look of that bare Aluminum. tburrows653@gmail.com

    Great Upgrade

This tire carrier is very light weight and very easy to open and close. I have seen many failures on other competitors tire carriers with one of them snapping off.

    It doesn't get any better!

I installed this carrier on my 2014 JKU and was impressed by the light weight construction. The fit & finish are second to none. I was able to mount additional accessories to the rack with zero issues or noises. The "Stop Lock" is the icing on the cake. There are so many other brand carriers out there that don't take off camber situations into consideration (gee, it's just an off road vehicle, why would they? LOL). The lock out ensures the carrier stays put in an off camber scenario so you can easily access the rear cargo area without someone else holding the carrier open. Home run again guys!

    Sexy and rattle free

The GenRight aluminum tire carrier hands down is the best looking and one of the strongest tire carriers I have seen. It will hold up to a 42" tire and doesn't rattle. This tire carrier is where my lust for GenRight aluminum all started!

There is no better tire carrier

As soon as you go larger than stock wheels and tires you need to get a new spare tire carrier. The stock one is a joke. Sure there are other options out there but in my opinion GenRight has the best design. The spare is positioned optimally, the carrier doesn't rattle, and the spare isn't shaking like it's going to come off even when riding in rough terrain. Another great thing is that when I switch from 35" tires to 37" next year I am all set.

    BEST TIRE CARRIER

Posted by Tim Burrows on May 15th 2016

I had purchased another name brand and had ran with it for a while, but the weight and functionality was becoming a concern, got turned on to the GR brand, and initially the sticker price tripped me up, but when I read more about the product and its over all functionality as compared to the current system I had, the sticker shock fell into the category of smart choice, for weight and for functionality as well as durability. 3/16 Alum if hit will absorb and take a heck of a beating. This RTC is amazing, and if I had to do it all over again, I would make the jump to Genright the FIRST time.

Top of the line tire carrier

Posted by Anthony from CA on May 15th 2016

I looked at other tire carriers, they all rattled or worse saw them open by themselves on the trail. This one has 4 points that are rubber mounted and 2 self-locking pins to keep it closed. East to open and quiet!
