This is a high quality aluminum fuel tank for a Volkswagen VW Bug from GenRight.
This is a direct replacement for the factory steel tank (under the hood).
FEATURES:
- Each tank is made from 1/8" thick Aluminum alloy.
- Includes vented chrome filler cap.
- Large opening in tank top for fuel pick up tube or in-tank Aeromotive pump (as pictured).
- Small opening in tank top for bubble style fuel gauge (as pictured).
- Mounting flanges allow it to be bolted securely in place.
- Tank capacity is 10 Gallons.
- Hand TIG welded by our in-house Craftsman.
- Pressure tested to assure no leaks.
- Delivered with a brushed finish (but can be polished by the end user, as pictured).
- 100% Made in USA.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This is a builders product. We made it as close as a direct bolt in as we could. It will take some work to plumb.
- We may have some of this item in stock, but mostly these tanks are made to order.
- Because this tank is a direct "replacement part" which means it does not affect the emissions in any way and does not require CARB certification or EO number.
