Engine/Transmission Skid Plate Kit

This is the GenRight Engine Skid Plate Kit for a Jeep.

It is a universal kit, and was designed to work with our 3 Link front suspension (but might work with other kits).

It is a tube frame with a 1/4" thick aluminum plate that is used to protect the bottom of the engine and oil pan.

Attaches under each engine mounts and to the belly skid plate.

FEATURES:

• Universal design will fit on most Jeep models.

• Removable & replaceable design can be unbolted (see pictures).

• Made from durable 1-1/2" diameter x .120" thick wall steel tubing.

• 1/4" thick 6061-T6 aluminum skid plate. Removable center section to access engine or transmission for service.

• Ties directly into GenRight Belly Skid plates (but will work with others).

• Includes all necessary tubes and hardware to install (as pictured).

NOTES:

1. This product requires cutting and welding to install it properly.

2. This kit provides the maximum amount of ground clearance possible, but may require some modification to fit your particular vehicle.

3. We RECOMMEND a 1" Engine Mount Lift.

4. We RECOMMEND a 1" Body Lift. 

5. We RECOMMEND using our transmission cross member kit BKT-1050.

6. We RECOMMEND using our Belly Skid SKP-2500, SKP-2510, SKP-4500 or SKP-4510.

7. Modifying the exhaust pipe under the engine maybe required.
